After Eden

Devi knows she shouldn’t trust the new employee at her favorite used bookstore. Sure, he’s funny, smart and hands down the sexiest guy she’s ever met, but something dark lurks behind his unassuming smile and sinful green eyes.

Still, a girl can’t always afford to be picky. When an angel abducts your twin brother it should come as no surprise that the one person who can help you get him back is a demon–and only if you’re willing to pay his price.

Also, check out this incredible, fan-made trailer for After Eden on YouTube! Thank you Kristen, for making this, sharing it with me, and letting me link to it! I was blown away when I saw this 🙂 It’s far better than anything I could have come up with.

And there’s another wonderful fan-made book trailer for After Eden(link leads to YouTube). This one uses a lot of clips from the Vampire Diaries. Though I enjoy that show, I never really imagined them as characters from the fallen angels series. However, after watching this, it’s hard not to! They really fit!

“Hilarious, sweet, and incredibly hard to put down, After Eden is a book I’d recommend to all paranormal romance lovers.”-Bree from The Awesome Magic Attic, 5/5 stars (read full review)

“This was a very well-written book and I really enjoyed it. I found it to be very moving, even if quite dark, and very haunting.” -Kim from the Caffeinated Diva, 5/5 mugs (read full review)

“All in all, while I feel like a few of the characters in this story were really great and totally swoon-worthy, I just don’t feel like the story lived up to its potential…That being said…her writing is seriously breathtaking.” Avery from Avery’s Book (and other fun stuff) Nook, 6.5/10 (read full review)

  1. I bought this book for my Kindle. I absolutely loved it! I wrote a review on Amazon. I can’t wait for Book 2 to come out. It was fantastic and I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it.

  2. loving the story 🙂
brought last night, statrted reading, didnt wanna put it down!!! kept me awake on my kindle most of the night lol

    • Hello Glesni,
Thanks for stopping by! Unfortunately, right now AFTER EDEN is available only as an ebook (from Amazon or from Smashwords in a variety of formats, like .doc and .pdf). I am working on making it available as a paperback, but I don’t think the paperback will be out until late November or December. -Katherine

  3. The blurb, intrigued me, the Prologue had me hooked and now I’m going to purchase it on my iPhone! Thanks for the follow on Twitter, otherwise I never would have gotten to read this awesome excerpt!

  4. When is Fallen Angels, book 2 coming out anytime soon you said you wanted to be out by November but since its almost over will it be coming out by the end of the year or sometime next year?

    • Hey BrittBrat. I’m sorry it’s taking longer than expected. The second book will definitely be out before next year. It has been written and edited, and right now all I’m waiting for are comments from my proofreaders. That could be any day now, and the book will probably go up 1-2 days after I hear from them.

  5. I was wondering if you plan to bring this series to a paperback or hardback book. I’m nearly blind and I find those little kindle things to be…not helpful. I was able to read the chapter that you had up above and I think its very fun and exciting. I would love to read more.

    • Hi Amanda! Thank you for stopping by, and I’m glad you enjoyed the excerpt. I was planning on making the “fallen angels series” available as paperbacks after publishing book 2 (Beloved Purgatory). Formatting/proofing paperbacks takes longer than formatting/proofing an ebook, so the earliest I would have them ready would probably be late December/January.

    • Did you know that the Kindle has adjustable font size? Perhaps that would help if you used it on the largest type setting. Good luck.

  6. I got it on my Kindle because I wanted a cheap fast read, and boy, can I say I got my money’s worth and then some. I love Oz. I can never find enough books with bad boys. Hehe. Plus I love the whole punk, pseudo-punk feel. Then when I read the line about Devi’s old shoe’s I died smiling because I have a pair just like that except mine are bubblegum pink.

    • Hey Sophie. I’m glad you like Oz. I’m a big fan of lovable bad boys too 🙂 Thank you for your kind words on After Eden. I’m really glad you liked it. Oh, and by the way, your shoes sound awesome. In my humble opinion, bubblegum pink is one of the best shoe colors.

  7. Hey kathrine,
I love After Eden, it was awsome!! I can’t wait for the second book to come out. I am so excited!! I love oz! He is just so cute and an awsome guy. I really loved the romance in this book. I am really looking forward to the next one.

    • Hey Kathryn. It is great to meet another Oz fan 🙂 I am so glad that you enjoyed After Eden! Actually, the second book came out not too long ago, and the third is on its way. Thank you for stopping by!

  8. I bought this book on my Kindle because the cover art was BEAUTIFUL and the story seemed new and good…after the first page I couldn’t put it down! I finished it an hour later and quickly bought the second. I just wanna let you know how much I love both books! I felt the connection bewteen Devi and Oz and that’s rare. I can tell you put a lot into your characters and the plot. I was taken by surprise alot with the twists and turns and was pleasently surprised. I also laughed at some parts, which is good. Will you be writing a third? If so, I will definately be a buyer(:

  9. This is a fascinating book that I couldn’t put down! It was so good that I based my boo report on it. Im currently reading the second and I have to say I love Oz! The way he speaks and his comments brighten my day. Though I have to say Devi still outranks him when she said, “Yeah taste the power of commercialize princesses!”…….Or something on that order. ^.^ Keep writing, your my idol for becoming an author!

    • Hey Kirsten. Thank you so much for stopping by. I’m glad that you’re enjoying the books so far. I’m also honored that you chose “After Eden” to be part of your book report! And I know exactly what line you’re talking about. (As an aside, I actually giggled when I wrote that line from Devi, so I’m happy that you like it too.) Oz is a lot of fun, but Devi definitely “one-upped” him there 🙂
